Liaise with government, business and the media to facilitate the recognition of the fast growing home-based business movement and the important contribution you make to the economy, the labor force and our community;
Promote, research and monitor the programs, policies and legislation affecting home based businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs;
Network and affiliate with other home business, small business and professional organizations to obtain further resources for our membership and to gain insight into community trends;
Establish discount packages and benefits that would otherwise not be available to self-employed entrepreneurs or small businesses;
Provide venues where members may promote their products or services to other members as well as the community.

Trade Shows: You will have the opportunity to participate in and display your promotional material, free of charge, at all trade shows SBA attends. You will be able to purchase display space at our Annual Trade Show at member rates.
Newsletter: You will be able to access our on-line newsletter, "The Informer" containing timely information and important tips for home-based businesses;
Power Networking: You will be invited to social gatherings where you can make potential contacts to build your business. As well, you can learn valuable information from other seasoned home-based business entrepreneurs;
